Scheduled tasks

Scheduled tasks let Specialists—or your main assistant—run without you typing each time. In the dashboard you usually set local time plus an IANA timezone (for example America/New_York); UTC is the default if you do not change it. You can also paste a raw five-field cron when you know the exact expression.

What runs

Each task includes the prompt, the target thread or Specialist, allowed skills, and the schedule. Results appear in the dashboard chat for that thread. You can also receive copies on connected channels where your plan and preferences allow—WhatsApp, Telegram, or email (when configured). Files in your workspace appear only when the run or your prompt asks CloudyBot to write them.

Reliability

Ship small, idempotent tasks: have CloudyBot write a dated log file or a short summary so the next run can compare against prior output.
