Web search skill

Useful for news, competitor pages, and quick fact checks with citations you can verify.

How to enable

1. Normal chat threads already include web search—you usually do not need to toggle it.
2. Explicitly enable or ask for citations on Specialists or threads where search was disabled.

What you can ask

Copy a line below and tune names, channels, or file titles to match your workspace.

• “Find the 5 most recent articles about {topic} from the last 7 days.”
• “Who leads {company} today? Cite sources.”
• “What is a fair freelance rate for brand design in 2026?”
• “Compare pricing pages for three competitors to {product}.”
• “Pull 10 distinct results for best AI productivity tools 2026.”

Common pitfalls

• Search engines rank paywalled content—confirm access.
• Facts drift—ask for recency.
